Beijing accused US of violating China’s sovereignty

Almaty. August 11. Silkroadnews – Beijing accused the US of violating China’s sovereignty, Russian “5 Канал” reported.
According to the report, the United States have severely violated the sovereignty of the PRC. Such a statement by China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs followed the American warship sailed in the disputed Spratly chain in the South China Sea. The archipelago is disputed by six countries, they are China, Vietnam, Taiwan, the Philippines, Brunei and Malaysia.
“The US destroyer’s actions have violated Chinese and international laws, as well as severely harmed China’s sovereignty and security”, the agency quoted Geng Shuang, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, saying.
It is reported that China called the US actions a provocation.
China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China noted that thanks to the joint efforts of Beijing and the ASEAN countries it was possible to reduce tensions in the South China Sea. However, this “provocation” by the US military forces the PRC to take new measures to protect its territory, the report says.
