Beijing’s GDP growth for the first quarter of the year reached 6.9%

Almaty. April 20. Silkroadnews – In the first quarter of the year Beijing’s GDP grew 6.9% year-on-year and reached 604.5 billion yuan ($1 = 6.87 yuan).
According to data by department of the National Bureau of Statistics of China in charge for Beijing market, in the first quarter of 2017 in Beijing there was a slight decrease in the size of the traditional agriculture sector, the added value in industry increased by 8.8% and in the service sector by 6.6% year-on-year.
The first quarter results show the total consumption in Beijing increased by 8.9% and reached 551.8 billion yuan, capital investments in fixed assets grew 7.9% to 131.39 billion yuan.
