According to the latest statistics from the Beijing security control, now the city has 2536 enterprises, whose economic activity is related to hazardous chemicals, of which 35 are directly involved in the production of hazardous chemicals.
According to the deputy head Qian Shan, recently in Beijing had taken strong measures to tighten control over the safety of chemicals. As part of these measures, all enterprises, whose production activities are not compliant with safety standards and where there are hidden security threats, should immediately stop production and enter the twenty four-hour duty.
