Bishkek opens the anniversary meeting of the SCO heads of governments

Almaty. November 3. Silkroadnews – The anniversary meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s heads of governments has been opened in the Bishkek state residence “Ala-Archa”, KyrTAG writes.

“The collective meeting of the Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev with the heads of governments of the SCO member states, SCO Secretary General and Director of the Executive Committee of the SCO RATS is expected to be held in the office of the president”, the statement says.

The meeting of the heads of delegations in the narrow format is reported to be held this afternoon. The enlarged meeting of the Council of the heads of the governments of the SCO countries, chaired by the Kyrgyz Republic, will also start later in the afternoon. Upon the completion of the meetings the ceremony of the final documents signing will be carried out.

The 15th anniversary meeting of the Council of heads of governments of SCO member states is conducted with participation of the heads of the governments of China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, the organization’s Secretary General Rashid Alimov and Director of the Executive Committee of the SCO RATS Eugene Sysoev and include signing of around ten documents relating to the project activities, science and technology partnerships concept and joint planning.

The SCO member states are Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and China.
