Bloggers in Uzbekistan will be block for extremism and false information

Tashkent. September 5. Silkroadnews - Bloggers in Uzbekistan will be block placing unverified and extremist informationon their websites, reported KazTAG. Appropriate changes and additions to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Informatization" was published on Friday in the local press.
Changes in the law signed on Thursday by President Islam Karimov came into effect from the date of its publication. To date, the activities of bloggers in Uzbekistan are not legally regulated.
The document stipulates that the blogger is obliged to check the accuracy of publicly available information to place it on their web resources, and immediately delete it if it was found unreliable, or if it is extremist or encourages and promotes illegal acts.
Entry into force of Act will create conditions for the further development of the Uzbek segment of the Internet, filling it with accurate and timely information, the formation of transparent and effective mechanisms of regulation of professional activities in the field of internet, according to the Parliament.
