Body of killed in Moscow Tajik entrepreneur arrives to Dushanbe

Dushanbe. April 25. Silkroadnews – The body of Shuhrat Yahshimurodov, the Tajik entrepreneur, who was killed in Moscow last Tuesday, arrived to Dushanbe this morning. Mister Yahshimudov is to be buried at “Sari Osie” cemetery”, TajikTA reports.
Shuhrat Yahshimurodov was shot with a gun in Moscow this Tuesday. As Mass Media reports, it happened next to his house.
Mister Yahshimurodov was arrested in 1995 in relation to the double murder of 2 Chechen mobsters in Moscow. The double murder allegedly happened for personal reasons.
It was speculated that Mister Yahshimurodov’s arrest might have been related to his political views, as he was close to Tajik opposition.
47 year-old Yahshimurodov was a General Manager at polish “Fair Play International”. He has previously held a VP position at “Taj-Al”, non-ferrous metals and oil refining company. Mister Yahshimurodov was a Moscow State University graduate.
