Bozshakol copper mining and processing plant to be launched in second half of 2015
Astana. May 26. Silkroadnews – Bozshakol Copper Mining and Processing Plant to be launched in the second half of 2015, as Deputy Governor of Pavlodar Province, Duysenbay Turganov informs.
This is the biggest project in Kazakhstan so far. Its capacity is 25 mln tonnes of ore a year. The chief contractor on this project is a Chinese Company.
The mine contains 1.173 bln tonnes of ore. The ore is 0.35% copper rich. That ore has other valuable by-products, such as gold and molybdenum.
