BRICS leaders in Johannesburg to discuss answer to U.S.-China protectionism

Silkroadnews - At the forthcoming summit of BRICS organization in Johannesburg the member states (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) leaders of the BRICS member states will give a clear answer to oppose the U.S. protectionist policy, the Kazakh Telegraph Agency (KazTAG) reports with reference to TASS.
The position of the BRICS countries is unambiguous in the issue, Assistant Foreign Minister Zhang Jun said on Friday, they firmly support multilateral mechanisms of interaction and trade and oppose unilateral protectionist measures.
According to the diplomat, Washington’s foreign trade policy poses a threat to global development.
To remind, on July 25-27, President Xi Jinping will attend the 10th BRICS Summit to be held in Johannesburg.
