Bushehr nuclear power plant is connected to the national grid of Iran

Tehran. June 25. Silkroadnews - Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) announced connection of the Bushehr nuclear power plant to the national grid, reports IrTAG.
The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Ali Akbar Salehi reported that Bushehr generating capacity were connected to the national grid after the successful completion of the test works.
A. Salehi noted that at the moment the Bushehr plant operates at 50% of its rated capacity, adding that at full power station will work in the next few days.
As recalled by the agency, the Bushehr nuclear power plant, located in the southwest of Iran, was first connected to the national grid of Iran in September 2011.
