Almaty. November 14. Silkroadnews - By 2027 Russia plans to build a super-heavy carrier rocket plans for flights to Mars, the Kazakh Telegraph Agency (KazTAG) reports with reference to the newspaper Izvestia.
Roskosmos has prepared the project for the president’s resolution on building a super-heavy carrier rocket by 2027, which would require from 700 billion to 1.5 trillion rubles in the budget of the federal space program. Experts believe the move is the first step towards the return of Russia’s space ambitions and participation in international projects, including expedition to Mars, the statement said on Tuesday.
The new rocket is aimed at further exploration of the universe, solar system and realization of its moon program.
