“Celebrity House – Person – Legend” magazine violates Kazakh Constitution
Astana. April 18. Silkroadnews – The April edition of “Celebrity House – Person – Legend” magazine violates Kazakh Constitution it has been revealed, as Kazakh Communication and Information Agency informs.
“The April edition’s content has signs of constitutional violations. It also violates Kazakh legislation on incitement of social, national, tribal racial and religious hatred (Criminal Code, Article 164)” The agency informs this Friday.
April edition of the publication that is published in Kazakh is dedicated to Adolf Hitler’s personality and Fascist ideology. In the article entitled “Hitler is no Fascist”, its author Natashibay Esmyra not only defends the leader of National-Socialists, but also adds highly xenophobic comments of his own. Another article entitled “Mein Kampf – What is This Book About?” poses a variety of questions regarding book’s content.
Magazine’s chief editor is Zharylkap Kalybay. He made the news last year as he was the middle of infamous plane incident. The incident happened when a female member of plane crew replied in Russian to the question that he was asking her in Kazakh. Later, in October 2013, he was charged with “hooliganism” in relation to the incident.
