Central Bank of Uzbekistan keeps refinancing rate at the level of 9% per annum

Almaty. February 3. Silkroadnews – Board of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan approved the refinancing rate unchanged at 9% per annum, UzTAG writes.
“This level of refinancing rate meets the tasks of effective monetary policy to hold inflation within the target forecast parameters, as well as boost the investment activity and support the high rates of economic growth”, report of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan says.
Last time the refinancing rate was reduced by 1 percentage point from 10% to 9% was on January 1, 2015.
