Central Bank of Uzbekistan kept the refinancing rate at 9%

Almaty. January 27. Silkroadnews - The Board of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan concluded to keep the refinancing rate at the level of 9% per annum, according to the Uzbek news agency (UzTAG).
“This decision was made based on the forecasted parameters of inflation level set for the current year, as well as the tasks defined in the basic directions of monetary policy for 2016,” - said in a statement.
From January 1, 2015, the Central Bank lowered the refinancing rate by 1 percentage point from 10% to 9% per annum.
