China allocated 1 billion yuan from the central budget to fight drought and floods

Almaty. August 2. Silkroadnews – China has allocated 1 billion yuan from the central budget to fight drought and floods, the “People’s Daily” newspaper reported.
The report informs, according to China’s ministry of finance, 1.01 billion yuan was allocated from the central budget of China to provide assistance to flood- and drought-affected areas. Earlier 1.325 billion yuan has already been allocated for these purposes.
Out of this amount, 610 million yuan will go to fight floods and drought, and the remaining 400 million yuan – to help the agriculture within the affected area.
Reportedly, ministry of finance of the PRC said they will closely monitor the change in the situation with natural disasters and provide the funds in time to combat the disaster.
