China and Belarus have signed a joint declaration to establish the mutually beneficial cooperation

Almaty. September 30. Silkroadnews – Chinese President Xi Jinping held talks with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko at the Great Hall of the People, «Xinhua» agency reports.

«Two leaders signed a joint declaration of China and Belarus to establish relations of trustful comprehensive strategic partnership and mutually beneficial cooperation», the statement said.

Also, the heads of the states decided to enrich the comprehensive strategic partnership component of Chinese-Belarusian relations, promote friendship «in any weather», and create a community of common interests and a community of common fate.

Xi Jinping said that China, together with the Belarusian side, plans to maintain steady development trend of bilateral ties taking advantages of the «One Belt, One Road» initiative.

Alexander Lukashenko added, the Belarusian side strongly supports the Chinese initiative and is going to match it with the republic's development strategy, bringing the economic and investment cooperation between the two countries to a new level.

In addition, Alexander Lukashenko awarded Xi Jinping with Belarusian Order «For strengthening peace and friendship».
