China and Europe to strengthen cooperation in the cargo rail transportation

Almaty. April 24. Silkroadnews – Seven states - Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Belarus, Germany and Poland - have signed an agreement to strengthen their cooperation in the cargo rail transportation, “Xinhua” reports with reference to the “China Railway Corporation”.

According to the agreement, the parties will work together to ensure the railway infrastructure and transport security improvement. The information exchange systems along with joint working and expert groups are to be established to achieve these goals. Besides, the coverage of railway freight services is to be ramified, taking into account need for quicker customs clearance.

The agreement was signed by the states’ railway authorities and serves the interests of “One Belt, One Road” strategy realization for the economic development and trade cooperation along the new Silk Road.
