Almaty. December 15. Silkroadnews - President Xi Jinping held telephone talks with French President Francois Hollande, Xinhua news agency reported.
Xi pointed out that the adopted Paris Agreement pointed the way for a joint global response to climate change since 2020 and has historical significance. China and France should work together with other parties to ensure the effective implementation of the Paris Agreement. The success of the Paris Conference showed that the international community is fully capable through cooperation and dialogue to resolve important international problems.
In turn F.Hollande noted that France agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation in international affairs and will direct all efforts to support China's organization of the summit "Group of 202 in Hangzhou in 2016".
