China and Greece discussed the possibilities of trade and economic cooperation

Almaty. March 28. Silkroadnews – Representatives of leading Chinese enterprises in Greece and representatives of Greek government agencies in Athens held a symposium on opportunities and prospects for China-Greek cooperation in the trade and economic sector, Xinhua news agency reported.

“The participants discussed ways to further boost trade and economic cooperation in the course of “The Silk Road Economic Belt” and “The 21st Century Maritime Silk Road” (Belt and Road) initiatives”, the publication states.

Chinese Ambassador to Greece Zou Xiaoli noted that Greece is striving to become a hub of water transport, an energy hub and a service center in the region, as well as a new way for the Chinese goods, services and personnel to be delivered to Europe.

In its turn, Greece is ready to further acquaint the Chinese enterprises with the state's economic situation, legal environment and investment opportunities, and create a favorable investment environmnt for them.
