China and Iran refuse to barter when paying oil and gas supplies

Almaty. June 8. Silkroadnews - Tehran and Beijing reached an agreement, according to which China will pay cash for purchased in Iran oil and gas, reports Trend.
"In accordance with the signed agreement with China, after the deduction of fees, the rest of the amount for supplied by Iran oil and gas will be paid in cash or transferred to a third country as payment for imports of its products to Iran", - said the publication with reference to the co-chairman of the Iran - Chinese Chamber of Commerce Asadollu Asker Olladi.
He said that the bilateral trade between Iran and China is growing annually by 20%.
A.Olladi also said that Iran and China will establish a joint production of goods, some of which will be supplied to China, and some - to markets in Asia.
Earlier, an agreement concluded between the two countries contained a clause stating that China would receive from Iran oil and gas in exchange for Chinese goods.
At present, trade turnover between Iran and China is $52 billion.
