China and Pakistan are going to contribute to the process of peace talks in Afghanistan

Wang Yi said that China and Pakistan are interested in the Afghan issue sides. The sides created a way to advance the process of peace talks. Recently, with the mediation of Pakistan, the Afghan government and the movement "Taliban" had a first round of peace talks.
"The peace negotiations, of course, is a complex process, but the goal we have is correct and worthy efforts", - said the head of the Foreign Ministry.
Wang Yi stressed that the peace negotiations, according to China, are the only way out of the crisis in Afghanistan. The war in Afghanistan, which has continued for many years, did not give any results and brought more suffering to Afghans, not in the common interest of the international community. Pakistan plays an indispensable role in the peace process in Afghanistan, China intends to maintain close cooperation with Pakistan and help achieve new progress in the peace talks.
