China and Russia intend to develop cooperation in the field of law enforcement
Almaty. April 16. Silkroadnews - Chinese State Councilor Guo Shengkun during a working visit to Russia met with the Security Council Secretary of Russia Nikolai Patrushev, reported news agency Xinhua.
"The two sides held in-depth exchange of views on issues such as deepening the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between China and Russia and strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of law enforcement and security", - says the publication.
As noted G.Shenkun, currently between China and Russia mantained a strategic partnership at a high level which goes to the next stage of development. Achieved remarkable results in bilateral cooperation on enforcement and security. China will follow the same trajectory with Russia, detect existing hidden forces formed to update the forms of thought, always seek the nomination of cooperation between China and Russia in the field of law enforcement and security on the new stage of development.
In turn, Patrushev marked the positive development of Russian-Chinese relations and increasingly frequent high-level visits. He expressed confidence that the current visit of G.Shenkun will encourage cooperation in the fields of security and law enforcement. Russia aims to further strengthen cooperation with China, to jointly combat the current threats and challenges, Patrushev stressed.
G.Shenkun during the trip also met with officials of the Federal Service for Drug Control, the Federal Security Service, Ministry of Internal Affairs, and signed an agreement on inter-agency cooperation.
