China and Russia should enhance the level of trade and expand cooperation in the fields of finance - Xi Jinping

Almaty. November 16. Silkroadnews - President Xi Jinping in Antalya, Turkey, met with Russian President Vladimir Putin, reported the newspaper "People's Daily".
Xi Jinping stressed that the economic complementarity between China and Russia has a very strong trade potential, parties need to work together to raise the level of trade and actively expand cooperation in the fields of finance, insurance and development of the Russia and Far East. China is willing to work together to speed up cooperation with the Russian in building the economic zone of the Silk Road and the Eurasian Economic Union.
Putin said that Russia and China have maintained close comprehensive contacts, parties need to actively deepen exchanges and cooperation in such fields as trade, energy, atomic energy, chemical industry, high technology, finance, as well as cooperation between regions, including in the humanitarian sphere. Russia supports the initiative for the construction of the economic zone Silk Road and the Eurasian Economic Union.
