China and Tajikistan have agreed to establish a center for ecology of Central Asia

Dushanbe. September 17. Silkroadnews - representatives of the Academy of Sciences of China and Tajikistan have agreed to establish a center for ecology and the environment in Central Asia, reports Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA).
"The President of the Academy of Sciences of the People's Republic of China Bai Chunli visited Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan. During the visit, he said that the purpose of his visit is to strengthen the scientific and industrial relations of Tajikistan and China. Concrete achievement of their talks was the signing by both parties agreement to establish the Centre for Ecology and Environment of Central Asia at the Chinese Academy of Sciences under the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan", - said in the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Chinese guests visited the Institute of Zoology and Parasitology, Institute of Botany, Physiology and Genetics, as well as one of the centers of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan.
During the meeting, President of the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan Farhad Rahimi handed Chin Bai Chunli diploma "Foreign Member of the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan".
