China decreased imports of Kazakh oil to 32.5% in January-August

Silkroadnews - Exports of crude oil and gas condensate from Kazakhstan to China in January-August 2014 amounted to 4.9 million tons worth $3.9 billion, which is 32.5% less in volume and 31.3% less in the amount than in the same period last year, said the Customs Control Committee of the Ministry of Finance.
As noted in the published data, excluding the countries of the Customs Union, the export of oil from Kazakhstan in January-August 2014 amounted to 47 million tons worth $38.2 billion, which is 3.6% less in volume and 3% in the amount than in the same period last year.
The largest buyers of Kazakh oil were: China, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Austria and Romania.
