China discovered a large oil field

Almaty. May 27. Silkroadnews - China's first oil field with low permeability reservoirs containing no less than 100 million tons of reserves of valuable energy resource found in the province of Shaanxi in the northwest of the country, informs the agency Xinhua.
"The China National Petroleum Corporation (China National Petroleum Corporation, CNPC), discovered large oil deposits in the Ordos Basin on Tsziyuan field, owned by the company "Chantsin oil fields"- a subsidiary of CNPC", - says the publication on Wednesday.
The field is called "Sinanbyan". Pilot development of "nontraditional" oil in the Ordos Basin, company began in 2011, focusing in 2013 in Jiyan area where there have been carried experimental works. By the 25th of May this year, company managed to drill 366 wells, 332 of them are in operation and capable of producing 700 tons of oil per year.
Chantsin oil fields are currently the largest in China.
