According to the report the Committee to Protect Journalists, the largest number of media workers have been imprisoned in China, Egypt and Iran.
According to the Committee, on December 1, a quarter of the 199 imprisoned journalists are located in China. In Egypt, there are 23 journalists imprisoned, in Iran - 19 people.
The list of countries where the number of imprisoned journalists has decreased, includes Iran, Vietnam and Ethiopia.
