China expressed readiness to intensify cooperation with Kyrgyzstan fighting against terrorism

Almaty. May 16. Silkroadnews – The Chinese authorities are keen to intensify bilateral cooperation with Kyrgyzstan fighting against terrorism, TASS reports.

“Both sides should boost cooperating in the field of combating terrorism, as well as ensuring legislative safety standard and maintaining the stability of the two states and the entire region through their joint efforts”, Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs quoted China’s President Xi Jinping saying after meeting with his Kyrgyz counterpart Almazbek Atambayev.

According to the Chinese leader, Beijing supports the preservation of independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity of Kyrgyzstan, taking into account the development path, domestic and foreign policy measures the country has chosen being guided by the national specifics norms.

He also reminded, the PRC and Kyrgyzstan have been fruitfully cooperating for more than three years on “One Belt, One Road” initiative realization.
