China Geo-Jade Petroleum intends to purchase Kazakhstan oil company "Kozhan" for $400 million
Almaty. January 14. Silkroadnews - Chinese corporation Geo-Jade Petroleum intends to acquire 100% shares of the Kazakh oil company "Kozhan" for $400 million, reports Reuters.
In turn, the foreign media noted that the Kazakh oil company "Kozhan" holds licenses to develop fields in three plots with a total area of 211 square meters in the Caspian region until 2034. Most of the sites have already been investigated, production will begin in 2015.
Reportedly, the oil reserves of "Kozhan" reach 43.3 million tons.
