China harvests the record Chinese rice crop

Almaty. November 21. Silkroadnews – Project by “the father of hybrid rice in China” Yuan Longping to develop and produce new super-variety turned to be quite successful, “Xinhua” agency said.
Thus, the annual yield has achieved 1537.78 kg per mu (mu = 1/15 ha).
This sort brings two crops a year. The project has been realized in Xing Ning, near Mei Zhou, Guangdong Province.
