Almaty. December 24. Silkroadnews - China has lowered tariffs for electricity produced by coal-fired power plants, according to China.org.cn.
"Premier Li Keqiang in Beijing held a meeting of the State Council, which agreed to reduce tariffs for electricity produced by coal-fired power plants, as part of the unified energy system of China to reduce the burden on enterprises and structural optimization",  - says the publication.
At the meeting it was decided to reduce from January 1, 2016 tariffs for electricity produced by coal-fired power in the unified energy system in the national average of 0.03 yuan per 1 kW/h.
However, for energy-intensive industries will continue to operate a system of differentiated pricing penalty and step to promote the modernization of production.
