China has performed wheat harvest plan 70%

Almaty. June 12. Silkroadnews – China has completed the wheat harvest plan 70%; the harvest is expected to be rich, the newspaper “People’s Daily” writes.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture of China, at present a plan for harvesting wheat has been fulfilled 70%. Provided there is no prolonged rains, droughts and loss of crops in certain areas, as well as other natural disasters, the country expects to gather a plentiful harvest.
This year the country’s acreage for winter wheat of drought-resistant varieties reached 40 million mu (2.7 million hectares), which is 20 million mu more compared to the last year.
