China has started construction of a second aircraft carrier

As the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of China Yang Yujun informed that work on creation of a second aircraft carrier was launched in China after a comprehensive evaluation of various factors, by the respective departments of the country.
He said that the design and construction of a new aircraft carrier conducted its own in China. Its displacement will be about 50 thousand tonnes. It will be placed domestically produced fighter "Jian-15" and other aircraft. For planes taking off from an aircraft carrier will use the trampoline.
According to him, during the design and construction of a new aircraft carrier will be studied and used the experience of operating the aircraft carrier "Liaoning".
"Relevant information on the creation of a new aircraft carrier, we will publish gradually," - said Yang Yujun.
