China has tested an unmanned bus

Almaty. September 8. Silkroadnews - In Henan Province (Central China) unmanned bus has successfully passed the test drive, informed the Chinese media.
"The bus covered a distance of 32.6 km on the highway from the administrative center of the province Zhengzhou to the nearby town Kaifeng. The car arrived at its destination without the driver, having driven 26 intersection equipped with traffic lights", - said in a statement referring to the Chinese bus constructing company "Yuytun".
As noted, the bus is equipped with two surveillance cameras, four laser rangefinders, radar and millimeter, wave integrated navigation system. When driving a bus is able to take into account the external environment, to adjust the route, automatically recognize traffic lights, park in designated areas.
It is the world's first successful unmanned test drive of such bus. On the development of unmanned vehicles operate different countries, but their projects are still at the stage of research and testing.
