China hopes the British side as soon as possible to take final decision on the nuclear power plant construction

Almaty. August 2. Silkroadnews – Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hua Chunying stated, China hopes the British side as soon as possible to take final decision on the construction of the nuclear power station Hinkley Point, Chinese media reported.

“I want to emphasize that this is a tripartite mutually beneficial project between China, Britain and France, which have always enjoyed great support of the British and French sides. We hope that the British side will be able to adopt a solution to guarantee the successful implementation of this project”, said Hua Chunying.

As noted, recently the British authorities announced a postponement of a final decision on the construction of Hinkley Point NPP and also delayed the signing ceremony on the cooperation agreement scheduled for July 29 to be carried out by the Chinese CGN, French electricity company and British authorities for Hinkley Point NPP construction.
