China in May reduced oil imports by 11%
Almaty. June 8. Silkroadnews - China in May, reduced oil imports by 11% compared to the previous year from a record level of April, reports Reuters.
It is noted that during the 5 months, imports rose by 4% to 133.87 million tons, or 6.47 million barrels per day.
China in April raised its gasoline consumption by 6.2% and consumption of diesel fuel - by 1.5%. From January to April the Chinese market had a surplus of about 60 million barrels of oil.
China in May, imported 2.32 million tons of oil and exported 2.44 million tons. Exports of oil products for the first time this year exceeded imports in April.
