China in the next three years plans to invest about $6 billion in the Tajik economy

Almaty. January 28. Silkroadnews - China plans to invest about $6 billion in the Tajik economy in the next three years, informs the agency "Xinhua".
"Among the largest, systemically important investment projects included gas pipeline "Turkmenistan-China", laying a large part of which through Tajikistan to begin in 2015. The project cost more than $3 billion. But equally important is its social component: a few thousand people will be involved in the implementation of the project and its subsequent operation. In general, it is expected that in the next three years, the Chinese enterprises will invest in Tajikistan's economy about $6 billion", says the publication.
According to Tajik Ambassador to China Rashid Alimov, will appear the first Tajik-Chinese Industrial and Technological Zone, the construction of new cement plants, textile and processing enterprises, large greenhouses and many other objects.
"The strategic partnership between Tajikistan and China - is an equal choice of two neighboring states, prompted by the deep history of cooperation between the two nations, the identity or similarity of views on the modern world and especially national development interest in the joint development of the prosperity of the two neighboring nations, in the name of ensuring peace and stability in the region and the world", - said Alimov.
