China intends to invest $200 mln into the cotton production in Tajikistan

Dushanbe. July 15. Silkroadnews - China Company intends to invest in the Tajik economy $200 million, according to the Tajik news agency (TajikTA).
"Tajik President Emomali Rahmon received senior adviser of Chinese company "Chuntay-New Silk Road" Li Yang Jae. During the conversation, the guest said that his company intends to establish cooperation with Tajikistan in local cotton production by farmers with the introduction of advanced international technology. And to build industrial companies for cotton processing up to production of 15 tons of finished products",- says the publication on Tuesday.
Chinese company plans to develop the domestic market as well as the export.
The company primarily intends as an investment for the implementation of the above objectives, allocate more than $120 million and create in Tajikistan over 6 thousand new jobs. In the future investments will be increased to $200 million
Head of the Republic, expressing interest intentions of the Chinese company, said that the Tajik side will examine them carefully.
