China intends to promote international cooperation on the financing of development

Almaty. July 16. Silkroadnews - China is willing to promote international cooperation on financing for development. This was stated by the special representative of Xi Jinping, the Minister of Finance Lou Jiwei, reported the agency Xinhua.
L.Jiwei noted that this year, completed the implementation of the Millennium Development Goals and the UN is currently engaged in the preparation of the agenda for development beyond 2015.
According to him, against the background of globalization, the international community should adhere to the spirit of cooperation and win-win, to enhance the degree of cooperation in the field of financing for development, solving of problems that concern developing countries. Developed countries, as noted the Minister of Finance of China, should implement formal promises of assistance in the development, further reduce or eliminate debt and open markets.
L.Jiwei stressed that China, as the largest developing country not only serves as the beneficiary of development cooperation, but also is an active participant in the relevant work.
