China introduces a model of public-private partnerships in the energy sector

Almaty. April 14. Silkroadnews – China will take active measures to promote the model of public-private partnership in the field of energy, boost the private sector’s investment in the industry and raise the level of public services in the energy sector, “People’s Daily” reports with reference to the state department on energy.

“This model will be introduced mainly in the construction of objects operating on electrical power and new forms of energy, including power supply or urban and rural electricity grid reconstruction, construction and maintenance of charging facilities, etc.; in the construction of oil and gas facilities, including the construction of oil and gas pipelines, city gas pipeline network and gas tanks, LNG terminals etc.; in the construction of coal-fired facilities, including the construction of pipelines for the transportation of mine gas, electricity generation using gas, etc.,” said the circular promoting the public-private partnership model in the energy sector.
