China is planning to create 20 new hydro facilities worth $ 126.2 billion in 2016

Almaty. November 5. Silkroadnews - China plans to create 20 new large hydraulic facilities in 2016 in order to increase investment and to stabilize economic growth, Xinhua news agency reported.
The total investment in the construction of these facilities will be at least 800 billion yuan ($126.2 billion), said the ministry of Water Resources of China.
From January to October this year started the construction of 27 new hydro-technical facilities, the total investment in which amounted to about 114.7 billion yuan.
After commissioning, these facilities will provide an annual supply of 7.2 billion cubic meters of water and produce about 320 thousand kW of electricity.
Among the 27 facilities, construction of which began in 2015, 21 located in the central and western parts of China. They contribute to economic and social development of the less developed regions.
