Almaty. July 9. Silkroadnews - China is ready to increase the volume of calculations with Russia in national currencies, informs the newspaper "Vedomosti" referring to the representative in the negotiations on international trade of China Zhong Shan.
He recalled that in 2014 the central banks of two countries signed an agreement on currency swap for 150 billion yuan, and the "China is ready to work with Russia to speed up the launch of this agreement and to increase payments in national currencies".
According to him, Chinese side is ready, in cooperation with Russia "to promote the construction of cross-border infrastructure projects, including oil and gas pipelines, bridges, roads, arctic cables, power line corridors".
Zh.Shan also said that China encourages Chinese enterprises to participate in the construction of priority development areas in the Russian Federation, industrial parks and ports in the Far East.
