Almaty. December 2. Silkroadnews - China is ready to work with the US to promote the establishment of a mechanism of bilateral law enforcement cooperation in the field of cybersecurity. This was stated by a member of the State Council of China Guo Shengkun, tansmits the agency Xinhua.
The dialogue was chaired by Guo Shengkun. It was attended by US Attorney Loretta Lynch and the Minister of National Security Jay Johnson.
Guo Shengkun said that during the successful September visit of President Xi Jinping to the United States, the two heads of state reached important consensus on the issue of cybersecurity and decided to create a mechanism for the joint high-level dialogue on the fight against cybercrime. The two leaders recently held a second meeting in Paris and gave important instructions on strengthening Sino-US cooperation in the field of cybersecurity.
He said that Sino-US law enforcement cooperation in the field of cyber security has entered a new stage of development. Through practical cooperation and open exchange of the parties decided some real problems and strengthened mutual understanding and trust.
