China launched a retrievable scientific research satellite “Shitszyan-10”

Almaty. April 6. Silkroadnews - Today China has put into orbit a retrievable scientific research satellite “Shitszyan-10” (SJ-10), TASS agency informs.

“The launch was carried out from the Jiuquan satellite launch center in northwestern Gansu Province with the help of the carrier rocket Chang Zheng 2D”, the publication says.

During satellite operation in orbit, there will be 19 experiments conducted, including studies on the fluid physics, combustion processes, space radiation, microgravity biological effect and space bio-technology.

“All the experiments on the satellite “Shitszyan-10” are completely new, they have never been carried out either at home or abroad,” said the chief scientist of the SJ-10 mission Hu Wenrui.

“Shitszyan-10” is the second satellite of the four planned to be launched under the current space program of China Academy of Sciences.
