China launches a campaign against online copyright infringement
Beijing. Jul 19. Silkroadnews - This week Chinese authorities launched a campaign against Internet copyright infringement, “People’s Daily” wrote.
The campaign, launched jointly by the National Copyright Administration of China (NCAC), the Cyberspace Administration, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Public Security, will last more than four months.
It will focus on key areas, including unauthorized re-release of news and plagiarism in social media, unauthorized use of copyrighted content on short video sharing applications, and copyright infringement by creating overseas servers.
According to the NCAC, during the campaign, service providers will have to strengthen copyright protection measures.
