Almaty. December 20. Silkroadnews - China launches the first artificial intelligence lab for TV programs broadcasting, Xinhua reports.
“China’s first artificial intelligence (AI) laboratory for broadcasting opened,” the report said.
It is explained that the laboratory in Changsha, the capital of the central province of Hunan, is a joint project of the provincial television company and the leading Chinese AI firm iFlytek.
The laboratory will focus on researching television products to help journalists transcribe their records in Chinese and produce broadcasting TV programs.
Hu Yu, executive director of iFlytek, said, the laboratory will clearly demonstrate how artificial intelligence can ease the workload of journalists and make their work more efficient. In addition, the technology of artificial intelligence can serve viewers the possibility of interactive communication.
