China plans to build 27 hydro facilities in 2015

Almaty. April 3. Silkroadnews - China plans to build 27 major hydraulic facilities in 2015, informs the agency "Xinhua" with reference to the Deputy Minister of Water Resources of China Jiao Yong.
"Investment in hydraulic engineering will be increased this year on the basis of the previous year, which amounted to 488 billion yuan ($79.74 billion)", - said the deputy minister.
According to him, approved by the State Council 172 projects of waterside structures are essential for socio-economic development of China. These projects will be carried out mainly in the western regions of the country.
Currently being built 57 of these projects.
