China plans to invest up to $400 million into Tatarstan’s agriculture

Almaty. May 5. Silkroadnews – The delegation of Sichuan province headed by the Secretary of the Sichuan Party Committee, Head of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, Wang Dongming visited Tatarstan, the state unitary enterprise “Republican agro-industrial center for investments and innovations” (SUE RACII) reports.

“On May 4 SUE RACII signed a memorandum of understanding with “Sichuan Zhonh Zhi Shenghe Performance Co. Ltd” (Zhonh Zhi) on financing the project on creating a 10000-ha demonstration farm, construction of a dairy farm up to 3000 dairy cows, breeding beef cattle up to 5000 heads and construction of greenhouses of 54-ha area,” the center reports on its site.

According to information, the total amount of the project makes $400 million.
