China published the first atlas of the Silk Road

Almaty. March 10. Silkroadnews - The first map, covering the main economic zone of the country along the Silk Road, was published recently in Shaanxi Province, said the agency "Xinhua".
According to the Shaanxi Department of Geodesy and Cartography, the map provides information about the geography, transport, culture and economy of the 16 countries and regions, including China, Kazakhstan, Iran and Turkey.
The initiative of construction was proposed by President Xi Jinping in 2013 in order to strengthen China's cooperation with the countries of Central Asia and Europe.
Economic zone of the Silk Road will be created along the ancient Silk Road, stretching to the north-west of the coast of China, across Central Asia and the Middle East to Europe.
