Almaty. November 10. Silkroadnews - The pace of China's economic growth in the next two years will slow down, reaching in 2017 - 6.2%, reported a survey of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
"The organization's experts say that this is due to the rebalancing of the economy towards the growth of consumption and services, instead of exports of industrial production", - says the report, which referred to the Russian media.
According to the forecast of the OECD, by 2017, China for the first time since the beginning of the century will lose the first place in terms of economic growth among the ten largest economies in the world. The new leader will be India, whose GDP in two years will grow by 7.5%.
At the same time the US GDP will continue steady growth in the coming two years. In 2016 it will be 2.5% and in 2017 - 2.4%. For the euro zone, these figures are 1.7 and 1.9%, respectively. The Russian economy in 2017 will return to rise, reaching 1.7%.
Earlier in November, Chinese President Xi Jinping said that the annual rate of economic growth in China over the next five years should be not less than 6.5%. After the crisis of 2008, the average annual growth of the economy amounted to 8%. This indicator allowed to avoid serious unemployment.
