China’s economy growth in the third quarter meets expectations at 6.8%
Almaty. October 19. Silkroadnews - China’s economy growth in the third quarter meets expectations at 6.8%, BBC reported.
“China’s economy grew 6.8% between July and September according to official data released Thursday, slowing slightly from the previous quarter. The growth rate, which compares expansion with the same three months in the previous year, met forecasts. The latest GDP figures are still above Beijing’s annual growth target of 6.5% for 2017,” the report said.
At the same time, it is noted that the world’s second largest economy is trying to cope with the problem of debts and prevent the emergence of bubbles in the housing market, not to harm the growth of the economy.
These efforts, as expected, should affect economic activity in some parts of China, while economic growth has been supported by higher than expected rise in trade and bank lending.
